About David Young
Having started working in ELT in 1993, I continue to be a passionate and adaptable practitioner to this day. I have worked in a variety of roles, as a general English teacher, in-company teacher, and also working in exam preparation, principally to adult learners. I worked as a Director of Studies at a private language school in Czech Republic. After taking the Trinity DipTESOL in 2001, I moved more into the realm of teacher training, by 2003 working as Course Director on the Trinity CertTESOL, a job which took me through Spain, Czech Republic, India and Hong Kong. I have worked as an assessor from Cambridge exams as well as being the Main Course Tutor in running CELTA courses. Having worked as both a tutor and Course Director for the Trinity DipTESOL since 2010, more recently the Course Director role has become my main role, which I combine with work as a Trinity moderator as well as regular online teaching of general English, business English, and exam preparation.
