Background
About David Zeoli
Communication Swiss Army Knife | Strategic Thinker| Ardent Collaborator | Inquiry Advocate The polestar of my professional life has been the delivery of meaning and motivation through messages. My work gravitates toward an innovative and strategic approach to solutions through communication. I have 20+ years experience in organizational message management that is complemented by scholarly expertise in organizations and technology. The success that I have achieved has relied on my ability to foster collaboration and partnerships and maintaining a strategic, mission-driven mindset. Each opportunity to assist an organization requires a strategic approach to relationship-building, cultivating growth, and a commitment to achieving communication objectives and advancing organizational goals. Over my career I have pioneered culturally relevant communication, developed and distributed global health initiatives and produced diverse edutainment and social impact programming. I have managed communication projects and written, produced and/or directed media projects in more than 30 countries, 20 languages on 5 continents. In addition, I have produced 200+ live events, conferences and nationwide tours. Today, I continue to search for communication challenges that require professionalism, strategy, innovation and collaboration. In order to grow as a communicator, I made the decision in 2010 to pursue a doctorate in my chosen field of Communication. The relationship between information and technology has catalyzed our communication in the third millennium, resulting in exponential innovation and unforeseen obstacles to human interaction and discourse. The goal of my scholarship was to combine years of professional practice with a theoretical and scholarly approach to the understanding of human communication. In 2019, I was granted a PhD. in Communication from the University of Oklahoma with an emphasis on Organizational Communication and Technology. Today, I live in Oklahoma with my wife Heather and daughter Layla and continue to explore communication phenomena and investigate new areas of communicative practice. I continue to pursue communications and media opportunities with the development of a podcast and nonfiction narrative book.
