About Davide Barozzi

Passionate about Food & Retail, sustainability and pets, I am curious and optimistic by nature. My concept of an ideal professional path has always been rich in structured and solid experiences, especially at the beginning of my career, in order to have a more comprehensive vision of the world. And above all that it allowed us to test our ability to adapt in multiple fields, including the entrepreneurial one. I tenaciously managed to find opportunities to accomplish the above in the main work experiences that I summarize below, almost always combining the passions mentioned above: 7 years as PROJECT MANAGER in the NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS OF "CONAD", the first Italian retailer by turnover. Facilitator activity in the RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT of FOOD BRANDED PRODUCTS in over 100 FOOD & BEVERAGE categories; both fresh and grocery shelves, both for the Italian and foreign markets. This is the longest and most formative professional experience, which allowed me to learn a lot alongside managers with an international scope. 2 years as BUYER & CATEGORY MANAGER in the Petfood & Indirect Materials categories in the "AZ SPA GROUP", the first master-franchisee authorized by COOP ITALIA for the expansion of the brand in Southern Italy. Additional role as PROJECT MANAGER for the development of the first Italian STORE in STORE dedicated to pets. 6 years as PROJECT MANAGER for the launch and management of an e-commerce in the context of a family business. Since April 2023 I have been a UNIVERSITY TECHNOLOGIST in the Research Area of the University of Parma. I deal with support for the management of PNRR Innovation projects, support for the dissemination of scientific results also through social channels, and coordination with Regional Bodies such as Art-ER and the other Partners of the ECOSISTER project. I believe I have a result-oriented approach and an excellent ability to organize work, both independently and in collaboration with the team. Aware that perfection does not exist, I aim for "continuous improvement" both on the job and on a personal level. I aim to optimize my knowledge of foreign languages, also thanks to audiobooks. I am available to work on site or remotely, I have my own car, and I am available to travel both in Italy and abroad; I am in fact autonomous in interacting in both English and French, as indicated later as a self-assessment in the knowledge of these two languages.
