About Davide Campo

Geophysicist specialised in the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) method, my dedication and interest in GPR started in 2008 with my master's thesis focussed on the applications of geophysical methods as contribution to the assessment of the seismic vulnerability of reinforced concrete buildings. Truly and genuinely passionate about GPR, NDT and geophysics, in my career path through the academic research and the building industry, I always strive to seek out new challenges and for continuous improvements. I consider each project as an opportunity to apply what already learnt and to expand my knowledge and experience. I am experienced in a broad range of GPR applications for civil and structural engineering, cultural heritage, utilities and archaeology. Survey design, choice of the right equipment, carrying out the survey, providing comprehensive and conform to client's requirements results represents a very satisfying experience along with the chance of a continuous improvement. Author of articles on international journals and conference papers presented at specialised conferences and workshops on GPR solutions for civil engineering, cultural heritage, and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method applied to structural engineering GPR surveys.
