About Davide Filippi

I’m a 30 years old person who works since 2019 in the automotive industry. I’ve had the big opportunity, during my last university year, to participate to an internship being involved in 4 company fields such as Industrialization, Project Management and Logistic. I have the master degree in Industrial Engineering from Modena e Reggio Emilia university. During scholarship years I used to work such as basketball/volleyball coach, waiter and educator; jobs that beyond helping me to pay my studies, increased a lot my listening and communication skills as well as adaptability and flexibility. During my studying years I practiced professionally Basketball that transmit to me values such as team-working, cooperation and resilience. In August 2018 I have attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim making possible to cope with different cultures, innovations and business models, learning English better as well. Since September 2019 I’m working in Meta System Logistic department in the electric automotive devices sector. Between October 2021 and December 2022 I worked as Logistic Operation Specialist in the same firm. Since January 2023 I am a Plant Logistic Coordinator in one of MSY Italian plant with the direct responsibilities of resources. Starting from February 2024 I'm fully participating to the origin of a new Meta System production plant in Slovakia for one of the best car manufacturers in Europe as Expert of Logistics Engineering responsible. This huge green field project involes the analyasis and development of automatic warehouses as well as the study with IT colleagues of all the architecture that will lead the flows (WCS-WMS-MES-Fleet Management). This means close relationships with providers, customer, middle management, boards to reach the target of the full-automation concept. Since March 2025 I am working as a Vice Operation Manager in Transmec Group to achieve international customer targets ensuring robustness and flexibility. I’m focused on my job and I’m a real stimulating person, I’m interested in organisational roles in innovative companies and I can transmit my seriousness and problem solving attitudes achieving the target.
