About Davide Scaiola

Curious, innovator and technologically addicted. I am an experienced Senior Product/Test Engineer with over five years in the MEMS Sub-Group FT Calibration and Operations organization at STMicroelectronics, specializing on combo IMU (gyroscope and accelerometer). My journey began as a Junior Product/Test Engineer, where I honed my skills in test-program development, calibration algorithms, and product qualification for high-volume MEMS sensors. Currently, as a Senior Product/Test Engineer, I lead efforts in test-program validation, risk analysis (test FMEA), and yield optimization through mass production data analysis. I am adept at interfacing with cross-functional teams including Design, Quality/Reliability, Operations, Marketing, ATE suppliers, and Planning to ensure seamless product development and transfer to production. I hold a PhD in Physics and a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering with a focus on nanotechnology. I possess strong analytical skills and am proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, with additional knowledge in Python and Matlab and a deep understanding of MEMS calibration on SPEA testers.
