About Davide Spinelli

I chose my academic path to develop a T-shaped profile. I studied Automation Engineering to gain a broad understanding of engineering subjects, then moved to Computer Science and Engineering and specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Reinforcement Learning. In my PhD, I'm currently working on forecast-based neuro-evolutionary multi-objective deep reinforcement learning algorithms for water systems management. In the meantime, to improve my adaptability and soft skills, I got into the Alliance4Tech Programme, going on Erasmus to two of the best universities in Europe, UCL, and TUB, and involving myself in local clubs and societies. Moreover, I was a member of BEST for three years, the Board of European Students of Technology, where I traveled as a delegate to Strasbourg at the European Parliament and to Leuven for an internal international meeting. To improve my organizational and public speaking skills, I took the role of Main Organizer for the Italian National round of EBEC Italy, where I organized a three-day event involving 80 people, between participants and organizers, from all over Italy.
