I am pursuing a career at the intersection of biomedical engineering and medicine, driven by a commitment to innovation, research, and leadership in healthcare. As a student at Johnson & Wales University, I am pursuing a B.Sc. in General Biology & Biomedical Engineering while actively contributing to initiatives that blend technical expertise with human-centered solutions. My involvement in leadership roles, including Co-President of the Student Athletic Advisory Council and Captain of the Men’s Varsity Ice Hockey Team, reflects my passion for teamwork, communication, and inspiring excellence. My research experiences have broadened my understanding of science’s transformative potential. At the Gilbert Lab (UCSD), I’ve supported studies ranging from NASA-funded investigations into antibiotic resistance in space to nutrition-focused reviews on the gut-brain axis. Additionally, my work with Brown University’s Annenberg Institute examines emerging technologies like ChatGPT in education, combining research rigor with real-world application.
