About Davis Posey

I find it funny that I am an English major, yet most of my jobs have leaned toward more physically demanding jobs instead. But honestly, I wouldn't change a thing about that. During my time working in a position where you wake up early, work hard, and then wake up the following day to do it again, I learned that it doesn't just take physical strength but mental. It has given me an appreciation and respect for the men and women who work those jobs. It also taught me that it wasn't something I wanted to do forever. That was part of the reason how I got to where I am today; I was a film major who was unsure if he wanted to continue with the major he had. When looking for something else to do, I stumbled upon books, something I wanted nothing to do with at the time, but I tried reading them. And found that I enjoyed it when I could take the time I needed to understand and study the book. After reading several books, I found what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I want to help the hurt and lost, people just like me, so I decided to study to become a teacher.
