About Davis Vader

So much can happen “on the road” be it shipping or in life in general. That’s why logistics has captivated me for over 20 years – the job is rarely the same each day, but the underlying principles remain constant: listen to people, use insights into the big picture, and find a collaborative solution and refine the process for the next opportunity. I enjoy using detail-oriented processes to guide people and using different methodologies to solve complex challenges. Over the years this has led me to a have a variety of different roles: coach, mentor, manager, co-worker. But one role I’ll never relinquish is life-long learner, both professional and personal. A joke among my friends is that logistics is more than a career for me – it’s an approach to problem solving that extends beyond professional boundaries. Whether managing a large event for my favorite not-for-profit, coordinating multi-day wilderness trips, or enjoying a board game with a lot of moving pieces, I bring a meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
