About Davis Waters

With nearly 20 years of experience in sustainability and risk analysis, I lead ESG engagement, performance, and compliance at Eastman, a pioneering enabler of the global circular economy. As Director of Global ESG, I provide strategic guidance and oversight on ESG issues, risks, and opportunities, and communicate our ESG vision and progress to internal and external stakeholders. One of my proudest achievements was providing ESG expertise to the chemical industry's first investment grade senior unsecured green bond offering by a U.S. issuer, valued at approximately $500 million. This innovative financing facilitates our ability to advance the circular economy and achieve our sustainability commitments. My background in risk management and emerging markets, gained through my previous role as Managing Director and Founder of a global boutique strategic consulting firm, allows me to apply rigorous data-driven and market-oriented approaches to ESG reporting and compliance. In addition to my professional commitments, I am passionate about regenerative agriculture and community development, and I actively participate in various projects and initiatives that reflect these values. Examples include a grass-fed and grass-finished meats venture on my family’s farm and forestry interests, involvement in Mississippi Farm Bureau, and leadership of a community initiative to build a parks and recreation complex in my home community in Mississippi.
