About Davondra Brown

A New Orleans native and seasoned sexual health/wellness professional with over 25 years of experience in sexual wellness education and health promotion services. My expertise and entrepreneurial spirit is infused throughout my various roles as a speaker, author, and a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES). As a highly sought-after speaker, I use practical anecdotes, a candid approach, and a welcoming demeanor to engage every audience imaginable. Davondra I. Brown Services provides consulting, training, and facilitation to support established practitioners in integrating sexual wellness and health education and/or promotion services into their practices. By stimulating the mind away from societal norms and biases related to society’s most difficult concepts, I challenge the limited scope of sexuality and foster a greater awareness of how sexuality naturally permeates every facet of our lives. I use emerging practices to generate a deeper connection to our genuine, sexual selves and explore beyond limiting societal doctrine. With a specialization in identifying unique strategies, I facilitate the transformation from simply co-existing with one's sexuality to valuing, honoring and acknowledging it's interdependence with every facet of our lives. Furthermore, my commitment to excellence shines through my volunteer efforts with Moms of Black Boys United, the National Commission of Health Education Credentialing, and the Women of Color Sexual Health Network. I effortlessly and expertly combines my New Orleans spiked flavor and formal education to deliver engaging keynotes, seminars, and facilitated trainings to ignite attendees into action and give them the freedom to apply it accordingly.
