About Davor Pavisic

Passionate engineering leader driving innovation in software development and project management. With a strong background in electrical and computer engineering, I discovered my true calling in the world of software and pursued advanced degrees focused on genetic algorithms and dynamic recurrent neural networks. Alongside my academic pursuits, I embarked on thrilling outdoor adventures, climbing mountains and trekking across the Andes in South America. My journey continued as a university professor, where I imparted programming knowledge to undergraduate students while conducting extensive research in bioinformatics as a Senior Researcher. In 2002, I embraced a transformative shift into the private sector, joining Jalasoft as a software developer. Over time, my role evolved to encompass project management, and ultimately, I now hold the esteemed positions of VP of Engineering and CTO. At Jalasoft, I lead a remarkable team of engineers, collaborating closely to create customized software solutions that consistently exceed expectations. Combining our nearshore development expertise and a collaborative approach, we drive innovation and empower our clients to achieve their goals. I maintain a hands-on approach, ensuring I stay connected to my passion for engineering. Beyond my professional pursuits, I remain an active member of the tech community and engage in thrilling activities such as mountain climbing, amateur rocketeering, mountain biking, and yoga. I firmly believe in the power of collaboration and continuously seek to connect with other professionals to exchange ideas, build relationships, and drive collective growth.
