I work for an American smart thermostat company. Gained good experience in both independent development and teamwork. In this job, I learned independence, time management and many different soft skills. The work allowed me to quickly raise my level of development, learn the concepts of the project architecture and realize many global things. At the same time, I honed my programming and problem-solving skills. Improved service performance - code refactoring, caching, using database indexes, reducing the number of database queries. Various authentication methods and authorization - various user roles (guests, owners, providers, tenants), use of an invitation token, pin codes. Working with data - wrote an optimized script for collecting data about devices, using asynchrony, data processing using Pandas and NumPy, plotting. Project Deployment - used microservice architecture, used containerization, gained little experience with AWS, but mostly worked with DigitalOcean. Background tasks - use several approaches django-q, celery. Deploying celery on a separate virtual machine.
