Designing hand knitting patterns for print and indie publication, for over 20 years. Specializing in updated classics, innovative shaped cable designs, and whimsical, Nature-inspired knits for children and the home. I also have experience in crochet, hand spinning, natural dyeing, hand weaving, rug hooking, as well as basic sewing. and quilting. I've kept an heirloom, organic vegetable garden for most of the 18 years we lived in the Mid-Hudson, which I enjoyed immensely. I also love to cook and bake, and make all our meals from scratch.
