About Dawn Gold

Gold Speech is a team of skilled speech pathologists offering speech therapy and evaluations in English and Spanish to all age groups: infants through adults. Our specialty areas include early intervention, delayed speech, language disorders, articulation, phonological disorders, apraxia, accent reduction, social skills, stuttering, voice, hearing loss and aphasia. Clinicians also have knowledge and experience with feeding, cleft palate, Down syndrome, genetic syndromes, traumatic brain injury, stroke and dementia. Will customize treatment plans for individuals and families. Services delivered at home, school, daycare or work place. Speech therapist collaboration with parents, caretakers, teachers, pediatricians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and behaviorists. Sessions with young children actively incorporate parents and siblings. Dawn is trained in PROMPT for apraxia and LSVT for voice. Additional training in areas overlapping with occupational therapy, such as sensory integration (SI) and executive functioning. She has a strong interest in are apraxia and phonological deficits, accent training, and bilingual assessment and treatment. Dawn Gold is a bilingual licensed speech pathologist / speech & language therapist, who has been practicing speech pathology for more than 12 years. She received her Masters of Science in Speech Pathology from Teachers College at Columbia University in New York City. She is passionate about the children and adults she works with! She loves collaboration and finding innovative ways to help people communicate better.
