About Dawn Gonet

After ten years teaching in the public school system and raising my two boys, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a real estate professional in 2020. Joining Berkshire Hathaway Knight and Gardner Home Services in early 2021, I was able to use my local knowledge of the Florida Keys and my connections in the community to help many clients buy and sell successfully. In 2021, I helped broker the sale of the Papa's Hideaway Guesthouses, a $3.5million dollar transaction. In addition, I have listed and sold townhouses, single family homes and waterfront properties throughout Key West, the Lower Keys and Marathon. To date, since starting my real estate career in early 2021, I have closed over 12 million in sales. In May of 2022, after 18 months in business, I was awarded membership in the Berkshire Hathaway Leading Edge Society, an elite group of agents who rank in the top 12% for sales nationwide. This past February (2023), I was invited to join the prestigious Berkshire Hathaway Presidents Circle, as my sales were in the top 6% for BHHS agents nation-wide. I excel at educating property owners and first-time home buyers on the buying and selling process. My marketing strategies, via print and social media, are consistent, effective and reach a broad audience. My negotiating skills are both creative and strong, which enables successful outcomes for both buyers and sellers. I also enjoy staging and running competitive and engaging open houses. I believe that my teaching background has equipped me with special tools to help my clients be successful. Whether it be educating a seller on the current market and their home's value, offering tips for making a home shine or educating a first-time homebuyer, I am committed to making sure that all of my clients, buyers and sellers alike, are poised to make confident decisions.
