I have worked with troubled/adjudicated youth since 1994, I have found the experience rewarding in many ways because teenagers can teach you quite a bit. As a probation officer in NYC I implemented a "Girls Group" with the assistance and guidance of IDP. The first group was in Kings Family Court and the second in Queens. As a supervisor I developed and implemented a front end placement program to work in conjunction with Nassau Family Court Reclaiming Futures Program. Most recently I have been a member of the executive steering committee for Nassau Resource Direct which recently went live on March 30,2012.
