About Dawn Webster

I have experience in examining budget estimates for completeness, accuracy and conformance with procedures and regulations. I analyze budgeting and accounting reports for the purpose of maintaining expenditure controls and help organizations allocated their financial resources. I have helped develop, analyze, and execute budgets, as well as estimate future financial needs for private businesses, non profit organizations, and government agencies. I earned my Master’s degree in business administration in the summer of 2012. I have many interests in the arts, education and culture but I have also worked very hard to know what it takes to be a working professional. I am a person who has many ideas and is a self starter. I am an ambitious individual and also work well as part of a team. Most of my recent career has been with the State of New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration. This position has allowed me to also experience annual legislative sessions, program management and to acquire detailed knowledge of funds management. I have developed training, standard operating procedures and remained a resource with an open door for my team. Data is my jam. However, I also enjoy history, research, the arts, music and publishing. I am comfortable in an office setting and enjoy challenging work, but I would like to use the acumen I have gained from working in business and apply it to a more creative endeavor as well.
