Background
About Dawne Jay
Everything I do in my work as a coach is about supporting others to become the best version of themselves in their professional role. I believe that we are often our own worst critics and that this can be self limiting in terms of our personal and professional growth. About me With thirty seven years experience as an NHS professional, and eleven of those working in the field of Learning and Development, I have a solid foundation of both training professionals in Coaching (at Masters level) and facilitating it. My focus on evidence based practice means I utilise skills and techniques that have originated from the most credible sources. I graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2018 with a Post Graduate Certificate (PG Cert) in Coaching and Mentoring and a PG Cert in Higher Professional Education in 2016. In March 2024, I undertook further Masters level education in Leadership and Executive Coaching, gaining an Advanced Certificate in these specialist areas. I have extensive experience in Coaching and Supervising NHS professionals from a range of disciplines. What I do I specialise in Leadership and Professional Development Coaching (including career progression) for Healthcare and Corporate professionals. In my work as a coach, I support leaders in untangling the complexities of Leadership, by formulating achievable objectives that align with their professional remit, as well as their own beliefs and values. I provide a safe psychological space for leaders to reflect on their existing practice in a non hierarchical coaching relationship. I place a strong emphasis on professionalism and ethics, utilising processes that promote trust, openness, and honesty, and balance them with supportive challenge. How I do it Firstly I offer a free 30 minute (no obligation) chemistry session (virtually, or over the telephone) to establish if I am the right coach for you. I then offer packages of 6 sessions to support you in your Leadership Development. The first is 90 minutes to allow us to form a joint agreement of how we will work together in coaching. In this session we look at what you wish to achieve through coaching. The following five sessions are led by your goals and objectives and are 60 minutes in length. I also offer two 15 minute catch ups, during your coaching package, for you to check in with me on how things are going. I bring to coaching a wealth of evidence based resources to support you in your leadership journey. For further information please email: dawnejay@live.co.uk Mobile 07967134638
