About Dawson Carter

My name is Dawson and have a deep passion for the medical sciences. I've always loved science and enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others whenever they were curious about a scientific concept or idea. Being a first generation student means navigating the university landscape alone and adapting to anything that occurs. On top of the already demanding science degree I am pursuing, I am actively volunteering as well as working to help compliment my studies. By balancing all of these, I am able to actively succeed in everything I do. This includes everything such as my TA experiences as well as my jobs I work. I have worked in all types of labs ranging from biotechnological and chemical to environmental and have learned a multitude of skills that help me in my current studies and will help me in my future studies. My classes have taught me a lot and I have immersed myself within the world of science which I hope I can continue to in my future careers.
