About Dawson Spencer

As a dedicated public servant with a Master of Public Affairs (MPA), I bring a passion for public safety, policy, and community impact. Currently contributing to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, I’ve earned the department’s highest honor—the Badge of Excellence—by leading critical initiatives, including the Governors Task-force for Unaccounted for Person in Western NC that provided peace of mind to numerous families. My commitment extends beyond my day job: I hold Lean Six Sigma Green and Yellow Belt certifications and have completed training in performance management, first-responder aid, and Safe Zone/Green Zone programs. Whether refining internal processes or crafting inclusive, effective solutions, I bring data-driven rigor and empathy to every challenge. Driven by purpose and performance, I thrive at the intersection of emergency response, strategic planning, and community resilience. Let’s connect if you’re passionate about public safety, process improvement, and service-driven leadership.y/program analytics, case management, and organizational leadership.
