About Daydre Roser

In my previous career "life" lasting approximately 25 years, I was a radiologic technologist. Having an innate desire to help others (all living beings) this was a great career path that helped hone empathy, inclusion, and effective communication with people from all walks of life (doctors, patients, co-workers). I also learned to adapt to emerging technologies and procedures. In my current career "life'- going on 15 years, I made the leap to more environmental matters. Learning about and subsequently caring for ecosystems and the living organisms within them have become my passion. I've worked as an agricultural biologist, inspecting plants for diseases and pests, learned about beekeeping, refined my public speaking skills, and learned how to effectively deal with angry/upset people. After that, I entered state service and have steadily worked my way up the career ladder. Report and plan writing, presentations, creating training videos, subject research, conducting water quality monitoring, biological assessment surveys, public educational outreach, invasive species monitoring and control have become my bread and butter.
