About Dayle Obrien

My interest is in helping to create an environment where both people and the overall business get to thrive. I help client systems design ways of structuring, working and 'being' that reflect who they are and why they exist. I build capability through a range of approaches anchored in whole-system, adaptive and strengths-based thinking. My favourite way of working with the whole organisation is to bring as many people as possible from all corners of the organisation into conversation with each other to explore, innovate, forge connections, share ideas, understand what’s working in the system (and what's not), test the strategic logic and re-design where necessary.If I am working with teams I am helping them establish shared goals; to understand and appreciate each other; broaden their perspectives on issues; and have the conversations they need to have to get on with doing meaningful work.If I am coaching individuals, it’s more of the same, but more personal. People get to explore whatever is happening for them in the workplace, make sense of it, and develop techniques and awareness that helps them self-manage, build personal resilience, lead others more strongly and re-engage with their work.
