About Dayne Mentier

With over thirteen years of experience as a software engineer, I have led and contributed to multiple transformative software initiatives at Vestwell, a leading fintech company that provides retirement plan solutions. My mission is to introduce and adopt progressive technologies, best coding practices, and new methodologies that enhance the company's software portfolio and operational efficiency. In collaboration with the product and development teams, I have championed the efficient development, migration, and scaling of several critical applications, using technologies such as NodeJS, React, Material UI, AWS, and GraphQL. I have spearheaded the modernization of a legacy NodeJS application, the refinement of APIs in Nestjs, the transformation of AWS Lambda-based microservices, and the overhaul of authentication services. I have also established UI best practices, pioneered testing frameworks, and enhanced deployment tools. Through these initiatives, I have enabled the company to deliver innovative and secure products that meet the needs and expectations of its clients.
