About Dayne Sislen

I am a children's picture book illustrator, art director and creative thinker. I love what I do to help others bring their ideas and stories to life. My dream job is helping children's book authors develop their books and characters visually with my illustrations. I am also able to bring their personal branding and visual identity together in a cohesive package. Visit my website: http://dayneSislenDesign.com or Contact me: dayne.design(at)gmail(dot)com we can talk about your book idea. Specialties: Children's book illustration is a favorite of mine. I love working with authors to develop their characters and bring their stories to life. I also bring my skills in art direction and graphic design together with my illustrations to help authors design their book cover titles along with the illustration and incorporate the text into the page illustrations. For self-publishing authors, I can create the whole package, working directly with your printer, so you get the best printed results. Creative Direction: I love to brain-storm concepts, then quickly and roughly sketch out the ideas on the spot so everyone understands and agrees on a direction. This works well for children's book authors and publishers. I can quickly come up with creative ideas and rough them out for proposals. One of my illustrated books is "There's a Mouse on My Head!" is written by Donna Warwick and Illustrated by me. You can see it on Amazon: http://amzn.to/1f0cfI3 and Barnes and Nobel: http://bit.ly/1KgFC1i The author of this book and I do school visits and classes.
