I’m a policy wonk and tech enthusiast promoting innovative policy solutions across non-profit, state, and federal organizations. My passion is in bridging the divide between people and technology. With experience in the Rhode Island Office of Management and Budget, the Congressional Cyber Caucus, the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau of the FCC, and cutting edge compliance startup, GovReady. I excel at solving complex problems by leveraging computer science, data analysis, and policy research. In 2018, I graduated from Brown University with a Master of Public Affairs degree specializing in data science and policy analysis. My favorite project that I completed for my MPA degree was a collaborative assignment where we built a Python program to scrape of Congressional Wikipedia articles to study the impact military service has on being elected to national office. In 2017, I graduated from Brown University with a degree in International Relations emphasizing global security. I was a semi-finalist in the Atlantic Council's Cyber 9/12 cyber policy writing competition, a student representative for “Under the Wire: Cybersecurity” at the US Air Force Academy, and an executive committee member for BrownThink 2017, Security: Cyber and Diplomatic Challenges.
