About Dean Aghdassi

Dean is currently a project coordinator at SHAPE Australia and an RMIT project management alumni. Dean is an extremely organised individual with great time management skills and a love for problem solving and critical thinking. Highly skilled in the usage of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel, Procore, Jobpac and Bluebeam. Dean was formerly a quantity surveying intern with responsibilities in site inspections, liaising with builders and progress reports. This internship formed the grounding for entry into the construction industry and allowed Ideen to understand the basics of construction. Following this, Dean spent one year working for Melbourne's leading program management consultancy firm, status reporting, building programs and reviewing EOT claims on large infrastructure. Currently, Dean is with SHAPE Australia delivering fit out projects as a project coordinator in Brisbane. Roles include letting and vetting sub-contracts, minute taking, raising RFIs, building programs, tracking programs, managing safety on site, managing quality and closing out defects and other administrative duties. Outside of work, Dean's hobbies include fishing, camping, rugby and hiking!
