About Dean Andrew

I am a family man who loves all sorts of fishing and spending time with my family. My passion for fishing lead me into the charter fishing industry and at 19 I trained to become one of New Zealand's youngest charter boat skippers. With a change of lifestyle needed I launched into the sales field,over the next 20 years I have developed my career with assistant manager and full manager roles in the marine chandlery and sports both in the retail and trade sectors. My experience in sales and charter fishing has taught me the skills to relate well and build relationships with a wide range of clients being local, domestic and international. After the many skills I gained from these positions a new opportunity arose and I started working for Speedscan and Converga these positions lead me into a Production Management role here I developed further skills in people management,warehousing and logistics. I believe in providing excellent customer service in every situation as this not only retains clients but will lead to more business through customer recommendation alongside this is the priority to have fun and have excellent working relationships with staff and management alike as this leads to positive productivity and a happy work place.
