As a seasoned Program Manager and Research Scientist, I have spent over 30 years bridging the gap between research strategy, compliance, and execution. With over 20 years as a Principal Investigator, I’ve led research teams and labs at top-tier universities, driving innovation and securing substantial grant funding from institutions such as the NIH, Department of Defense, and various private foundations. In my role, I’ve supervised and guided junior scientists and trainees, ensuring successful protocol-driven research proposals, manuscripts, and presentations at local, national, and international meetings. I’ve also worked extensively as a Compliance Officer, providing regulatory guidance to streamline research processes and ensuring compliance with institutional administration (IRB, IACUC etc.). My expertise spans a range of disciplines, including small animal survival surgery, animal colony maintenance, project management, and budgeting. I pride myself on fostering a positive team environment, driving both individual and collective success.
