About Dean Biesenthal

For over twenty years, Dean has been employed directly in the Human Resources field with a strong background in Education, Health and Public Service. Currently Dean is the Associate Vice President of Human Resources for the University of Regina.Educationally, Dean is a graduate from the Business Administration program at the University of Regina with a double specialization in the areas of Human Resources and Marketing. Dean has successfully completed the Canadian Management Professional (CMP) designation, the Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation and is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources since 2005. In 2013, Dean completed his Masters in Educational Administration (M. Ed) from the University of Saskatchewan. As well, Dean is active in a number of organizations and committees across the province. Personally, Dean is still learning, creating, reflecting and refining his practice each day. But, his belief is that ‘if you want people to make a personal investment in the big picture, it must start with meaningful conversations.’ Honest discussions about a shared vision everyone can understand, refine and find their personal connection to. This is when people discover new-found courage and feel motivated to act.
