About Dean Bishop
I am an experienced aerospace maintenance and engineering manager with more than 20 years experience. I hold an MSc in Gas Turbine Propulsion from Cranfield University and are currently responsible for the undertaking of Intermediate Level Maintenance across the RNZAF’s SH-2G(I), P-3K2, C-130H(NZ) and B757 fleets on behalf of the NZDF DAR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation. Previously I spent 5 years managing technical support for the RNZAF’s Roll-Royce RB211-535, T56 and General Electric T700-401 power-plants. I enjoy challenging and dynamic environments where I can utilise my extensive leadership and communication skills gained from my time as a non-commissioned and latterly commissioned officer in the RNZAF. I have a passion for the aerospace industry, in particular gas turbine engines that I bring to all working environments. I actively pursue further professional development in leadership, flight data analysis and within the arena of gas turbine propulsion.
