As a seasoned finance professional, Dean currently holds the position of Director of Finance at The Toronto Hunt, a prestigious private golf club. In this role, he oversees the financial and accounting operations, ensuring the club's fiscal health and integrity. His responsibilities include financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, investment management and strategic operating and capital planning to support the club's continued success. Prior to his current role, Dean contributed to Thomas, Large & Singer as a Business Manager, in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Distribution sector. During this period, he played a pivotal role in financial management, bringing expertise to optimize financial processes, implement cost-saving measures, and enhance overall financial performance within the dynamic CPG landscape. Dean's journey in Finance began in Public Accounting, where he specialized in Real Estate, Investment Corporations, Professional Corporations, and Non-Profits. During these foundational years, he honed his skills in audit, personal and corporate tax, compliance, and advisory services. His experience equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of diverse financial landscapes and solidified his commitment to excellence in financial management. Dean holds a Degree in Accounting from Western University (UWO), which has provided him with a robust academic foundation to complement his practical experience. Dean participated in The Western Accounting Association, Western Sport Business Club, Western Golf Association and the Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity while enrolled. Lastly, Dean is an active member of his community, currently serving as the VP, Rep and Select for The North Toronto Baseball Association, an prior, leading the North Toronto A's Baseball Program for the 2004 age cohort, for 6 years from 2016 to 2022.
