About Dean Dobson

A collaborative Senior Product Engineer with technical expertise in structural analysis, product lifecycle management and product verification. I begun as a Junior Product Engineer as my first graduate job and have progressed through to become a Senior Product Engineer. Proven success in full product lifecycle management from design conceptualisation and bid, through to industrialisation and legacy support. Technical competence in structural and thermal analysis, design for manufacture and verification against regulatory requirements. Able to effectively problem solve under the pressure of stakeholders and deadlines due to possession of extensive technical and collaborative skills. Cycling is very much my main hobby. Since my early teens, I have been modifying, designing and making small components for myself and friends. I very much enjoy spending my spare time tinkering and designing, trying to solve any problems that come along. I recently became a father to an amazing boy.
