About Dean Harde

I have over 30 years experience in Biotech from research to process development. I design robust dependable downstream processes. My perspective is QbD by design and i have methods to use QbD principles during downstream development in an uncomplicated and realistic way. I have developed at least 5 full downstream processes that went all the way to manufacturing scale, and over 10 protiens at pilot scale. I use recursive techniques which allow me to reduce radically the time required for proper downstream development. I can develop better processes in shorter times ising less resources. My analytical load is also planned to be low. My processes are proven better. The opportunity to have worked in startups, and CMOs, and midscale biotech companies has allowed me to work on a variety of different proteins and thereby my methods were extended into general strategies.
