With over 8 years of dedicated service in crisis management and emergency preparedness, I am currently the Preparedness Supervisor at U.S. Coast Guard, where my focus lies in enhancing our nation's responsiveness to environmental threats. In my role as a Preparedness Supervisor since July 2023, my responsibilities encompass reviewing and verifying the classification status of Oil Spill Response Organizations. Through meticulous site visits and evaluations, we ensure the highest standards of preparedness are met. My previous experience as an Emergency Management Specialist has honed my ability to coordinate planning standards and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. These experiences have not only sharpened my incident management skills but also fortified my leadership in fostering robust partnerships to elevate our collective emergency response capabilities.
