With over two years of experience as a Decontamination & Sterilisation Technician at B. Braun Group, I am passionate about ensuring the safety and effectiveness of medical equipment for use in client hospitals. I have a BA in Theology and Religion from the University of Exeter, which has given me a broad perspective on ethical and social issues in the healthcare sectors and beyond. I work with heavy machinery and various computer systems to disinfect, inspect, and sterilise medical equipment, from arrival to dispatch. I maintain proper use of PPE and follow stringent health and safety guidelines to prevent cross contamination between departments. I work as part of a team to meet deadlines for emergency operations and use data input skills to record and track the equipment. I have excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills, which help me deliver high-quality service to our clients.
