With 35 years of experience in the life insurance industry I have held a wide variety of roles working with agents, brokers, brokerage firms, field offices, home offices and consulting firms. I am dedicated to the people we serve and providing peace of mind during some of the most difficult moments of life by converting data into easily consumed and understood business intelligence. I use technology to streamline processes and drive efficiency and accuracy. I strive to reduce manual processes that are subject to error. Key Results:* As a credit insurance underwriter, turned around profitability of unit by stream lining new business and review processes: quoting over in new business in just 3 quarters and reviewing 175 existing accounts.* Lead the team effort to develop data sets and reports for the conversion of a subsidiary to a new policy administration system, developing 80% of the reports while assisting team members in understating the new administration system’s data.* Established guidelines and developed procedures for newly formed centralized illustration unit.* Presented brown-bag seminars on “Life Insurance 101” and “Variable Life Insurance” to consultants at employee benefit consulting firm.* Wrote macro to convert illustration output into a presentation format at the “touch of a button”, reducing the presentation generation effort from about 4 hours to 10 minutes.
