I have worked my way up from a Bus Driver to a Senior Training Recruitment Officer and more recently been appointed as the Assistant Training Manager for Norfolk. This involves projects,overseeing and planning all aspects of training whilst managing the team. Another part of my role is regular communications with the senior leadership teams at all levels,especially to ensure we are meeting the required driver establishment numbers. Just recently I have recruited new trainers to join the team of which I train/ mentor so they become competent in delivering on bus training and classroom presentations I am very proud of the team that I lead and I’m a great believer in allowing team members to find their own path achieving their own goals. Finally, I am currently working towards the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) national / international qualification.
