Dean Robertson is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Shaw Group Limited. A graduate of both Acadia University with a Certificate in Applied Science and the Technical University of Nova Scotia with a Degree in Industrial Engineering, Robertson held managerial positions with McCain Foods Limited and Lewis Mouldings Limited before joining The Shaw Group in 1997. Robertson’s current focus is on leading The Shaw Group’s growth strategy and building a strong team for the future. Outside of the boardroom, Dean's unwavering passion and commitment to exploring innovative methods of reducing housing costs drove him to establish Fossil Farms in 2018, in collaboration with his brother, Doug. Nestled by the serene shores of the Northumberland Strait, near Merigomish Harbour, just beyond New Glasgow, this oceanside sanctuary embraces sustainability and operates entirely off the grid.
