For the first 4 years, I have excelled in network management and operations, further specializing in Firewall and IDS/IPS administration. With a solid 20-year background in information security, I have honed my expertise in Pharmaceuticals/Manufacturing, as well as gained valuable experience in the government, financial, and telecommunications sectors. Throughout my career, I have played a pivotal role as an IT security professional, spearheading the implementation of large scale IT security projects and establishing robust security controls and processes. Additionally, I have been heavily involved in corporate acquisitions and divestitures, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to stringent security measures. In my current position, I hold a dual role. I'm responsible of overseeing the implementation of regional IT security projects and I lead a team of IT security experts dedicated to executing global initiatives that fortify our organization's security posture. Additionally, I am actively involved in providing IT security insights and guidance for business initiatives and projects, safeguarding our operations from potential risks. One of my key strengths lies in the development of comprehensive IT security strategies, and implementation of tools and procedures. By standardizing processes, I enhance operational efficiency and ensure a consistent and reliable security framework across the organization.
