About Dean Weber

As of December 2019, I completed the Bachelors of Accounting Co-op program at Brock University, and am currently working towards the CPA designation. Having strong academic values, I was able to achieve a high academic standing at Brock while maintaining a part time job. This was the direct result of my positive mindset and superior time management skills, which I used in order to manage the constant opportunity cost of my actions. To date, I have held multiple positions within the mining sector where I have worked with some of the biggest mining companies in Canada. My roles have varied from helping to facilitate quarterly reviews and annual audits of financial information, which required me to stay up to date with both accounting and industry knowledge, and aiding in the preparation of key reports utilized by various internal departments and external individuals/companies. My experience to date has granted me a degree of insight into what drives a successful company, and has allowed me to work with some of the greatest minds in the mining industry.
