About Deandre Jackson

I am a licensed attorney (TX & OR) and a former legal fellow at Nike, the world's leading sports brand. I have also been a certified contract negotiator for the National Basketball Players Association, representing talented athletes in the NBA, and a self-employed DJ. I am thrilled to be able to combine my passion for sports and entertainment with my legal expertise. My core competencies include litigation, legal research and writing, contract review/drafting/management/negotiation, intellectual property law, and athlete management and representation. I have worked with some of the top attorneys in the country and have honed my skills in various legal settings, such as the Texas House of Representatives, where I was a legislative policy analyst. I have also received multiple honors and awards for my academic excellence and legal achievements, such as BESLA's HBCU Scholarship Award and the CALI Award for Legal Research and Writing. My goal is to use my legal skills to help my clients achieve their objectives in the sports and entertainment industries. I am also a proud member of the Oregon Chapter of the National Bar Association, Sports Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association, Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association, and the Multnomah Bar Association.
