About Deann Crosby

With over 20 years of HR experience, I have had the opportunity to work in every aspect of the human resources field. I am passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and was a member of the Davenport University DEI Council where I lead the HR sub-committee. At Davenport I also taught classes and am credentialed to teach Intro to HR, Staffing and the HR Capstone and enjoy facilitating for our IPEx department. My expertise is in process improvement, project management, talent attraction, recruiting, onboarding and offboarding. I have experience leading projects, implementing a new systems (I9 Tracker, WageVerify, Cornerstone on Demand, etc.), change management, and mentoring managers. My biggest accomplishment is taking a decentralized recruiting and selection process and transforming it to a centralized process using Evidence Based Selection (EBS). Participated in co-hort one of the HireReach Initiative based on EBS model used by Mercy Health.
