I began my professional journey in the field of accounting and finance, leveraging my skills and expertise to transition into ERP consulting. However, my career path took a significant turn towards HR planning and scheduling within the organization. Relocating to Canada presented me with the opportunity to assume the role of Talent Acquisition Manager at iGuard360, a leading security services company. In this role, I quickly realized the importance of formal education in Ontario Labour Laws and the country's HR policies and procedures. This realization fueled my decision to pursue full-time studies in Human Resource Management at Sheridan College. Upon completing the program, I was honored to be selected for a coveted Co-op opportunity within the college. During this four-month internship, I gained invaluable experience in HR record management, analytics, and pension and benefits administration. I am passionate about leveraging my diverse background and newly acquired skills to make meaningful contributions in the HR domain.
