About Deb Blair

My name is Debra Blair, but I’m more comfortable being called Deb. I worked for SCS Delivery, my most recent employer, for 6 weeks short of 13 years. While I would have loved to have stayed even as a part-time courier until I retired, a reduction of business made that impossible and they had to lay me off. During part of my tenure with them, in better days, I also enjoyed a couple of years in their employ as an office assistant, and it is that kind of work that I'm seeking again. I’ve learned a tremendous amount about office assistant duties from both the Office Manager and the CFO of SCS Delivery, and I’ve learned quite a bit on my own, too. I’ve worked a little with Quick Books: reconciling accounts and calculating loan amortizations. I’ve also worked with most of the components of Office 365…especially Excel, and I’ve created a couple of small databases using Access. I’ve had quite a lot of experience scanning documents, and then renaming them so they could be uploaded to cloud storage on Google Drive, as well as on Microsoft’s One Drive.
