Hello Healthcare Friends, Colleagues. and Future Connections! I am reaching out to seek your valued advice and guidance. O have 40 years of experience in healthcare, with 20 years serving as DON (Director of Nursing) or ADON Assistant Director of Nursing.) primarily working in Assisted Living and Nursing Facilities. My passion has always been caring for our incredible elders, and the fire still burns as strongly as ever. For those that know me well, yes, I am retirement age- but I assure you, I am more energetic than ever! in fact I outpace my 20 year-old caregivers. I feel deeply called to continue working because I believe God has placed a mission on my heart to serve another 5 to 10 years! Strengths that I am proud of: Endlessly Positive and Motivated- survey compliance, documentation, regulatory audits, I thrive on accuracy and efficiency. Organized and Detail Oriented Problem Solver - I love tackling challenges head on using critical thinking to find practical solutions. Experienced Auditor and Trainer - I loved being a Regional RN between Lincoln and Omaha, NE, conducting audits, and training Executive Directors and DONs. Ethical and Dependable - Integrity is at the core of everything I do. I follow through, and never leave a loose end. I take pride in being a person you can trust. Love Regulations! Ensuring compliance with policies and Procedures. My Weaknesses: I don't say no. This is a blessing and a challenge, I take on more than I should. I'm done with being on call 24/7: Handling staff emergencies, and working the floor. Ready to transition away from that intense level of demand. So here is why I need your advice: I am looking for my next opportunity, and i am hoping it offers a better work-life balance. ideally Monday through Friday role. Is there a position that allows me to continue using my skills, without the 24/7 demands? Perhaps remotely as an auditor or consultant/ I am primarily interested in opportunities in Lincoln, NE, I would be grateful for any leads or suggestions. my passion is to serve as strong as ever, and find the right role to continue to fulfill my mission.
