With over 22 years of experience in real estate sales, Deb has been providing sales and consultation services to buyers and sellers of residential and investment real estate in the Richmond, Virginia Metropolitan area, cities, and surrounding counties. She has earned designations and certifications such as ePRO -Internet Marketing Specialist, ACRE – Accredited Consultant in Real Estate, CHS- Certified HAFA Specialist, and CDPE- Certified Distressed Property Expert. Deb was the co-founder, Vice President and owner of the local Richmond Real Estate Investors Association until 2015. Beyond her work with residential buyers and sellers, Deb served as the Managing Broker of Coach House Realty until its closure in September 2024. She is an accomplished Short Sale listing agent having helped numerous homeowners experiencing financial distress whose hardship may have been related to divorce, separation, family illness, extraordinary medical expenses, involuntary relocation, etc. Deb has immersed herself in the intricacies of helping homeowners avoid foreclosure, having taken intense education in the subject and earning certifications and designations in that area of expertise. Her passion and commitment to helping her clients is unparalleled. Beginning in 2008, Deb recognized the trend of homeowners experiencing difficulties making ends meet as a result of the housing crisis and job losses where many were facing foreclosure. She took it upon herself to earn a series of designations in the study and practice of working with distressed property owners. In this niche she has helped numerous homeowners sell their homes through a short sale, to avoid foreclosure thus giving them the opportunity to recover financially and personally. Although these transactions can be frustrating and are subject to many ups and downs, Deb knows this is a special calling for her and her passion drives her to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Prior to her work in real estate, Deb spent a number of years at Verizon Communications, holding jobs as call center manager, Assistant to The Presidents of both C&P Telephone Company and Verizon Communications handling presidential appeals, resolving customer issues; and finally, as Human Resources Hiring and Staffing Manager for the MidAtlantic Region.
