I am a dedicated immunologist with a strong background in autoimmune diseases and infectious disease research. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas Medical Branch under the mentorship of Dr. Tian Wang. My research focuses on understanding the intricate role of the host immune system in chronic chikungunya disease. During my doctoral studies at Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University, India, I explored the role of myeloid cells in autoimmune diseases, gaining extensive expertise in immunobiology, translational medicine, and advanced murine models. I also have hands-on experience in inducing and studying autoimmune models, breeding and managing BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice, and peritoneal cancer cell injection techniques and running various instruments like FACS, RT-PCR, Confocal Microscope.
