Karukrit became the trailblazer when it has installed the first-ever outdoor hoarding way back in 1932 in this part of the globe at 10 Chowrighee Road of Kolkata. Named by famous writer Mr. Rajshekhar Basu Since then Karukrit has passed through a long journey to this modern era of digitalization & globalization. So is the entire OOH advertising industry in Kolkata. Karukrit has undertaken the entire advertising activities of the path-breaking movie Pather Panchali by the Oscar-winning director Satyajit Ray. Legendary personalities like Satyajit Ray Jamini Ray Purnendu Patri and many other stalwarts and creative geniuses have worked with and for Karukrit. The same tradition is being consistent in Karukrit even in these days. Karukrit is still the Market Leader of the OOH Advertising Industry in WB and in other parts of eastern India including Kolkata. It also created a national presence through a rich and trusted partner ecosystem. I Joined Karukrit the family business in the year 1998 after grown with such a rich business and creative legacy. Graduated from the University of Calcutta in the same year.
